nap time remodel one
I said this in the first post, but I have a list of things I want to complete during this social distancing season. The other day during nap time, I decided to get a head start. My husband was home, so I had extra hands which was nice. I just say every single day that we have too many toys in the living room. Too many toys in general and it was time to clean them out. So I did it while he was napping and he woke up to a nice surprise. A teepee in the living room, what he doesn't know is that it was put there as a barricade to keep him from getting near the shoes by the door. His favorite pass time.
Here we go - before image
as you can see we had a mess of too many toys, this wasn't even all of them they were spread all over the living area. The packnplay was there as the barricade, but he never got in it anymore because nobody puts baby in a packnplay according to Miggy.
This only took about 30 minutes and I am in love with the outcome.
The teepee was one my parents bought me at a craft fair in TN when I was in high school. Why I needed now when I was in high school beats me, but nonetheless I held onto it for all these years because I knew I would use it for my kids.
I have a basket obsession, so I used a couple I had.
The poof was for the baby girls room, but being that it doesn't match Miggy's room it floats in the living room. It is now used as a basket holder and Joey, our cats perch.
I am going to add some pillow in the teepee soon. I had some fabric left over from Uganda and decided to get some floor pillows made for my sister. She recently redid her room, so I will get a couple of those. I will update when I get them.
